Duck hunting is allowed on Sahoma Lake only in the fall. There is no duck hunting on pretty water any time. Also, please be aware that a permit for duck hunting is required and is a separate permit from fishing. Permits are $10.95 for the season. This is also not the same as your hunting license, HIP or federal duck stamp. These are required and should be with you when you come to buy the city permit. There are fourteen duck blinds on Sahoma Lake, their positions are set, but are in the process of being revised. If you would like to have some input into this, give us a call at 918-227-1534.
Duck Hunting Permits are on sale NOW at the Sahoma Lake Bait Shop.
Duck hunters, please also be aware that there are bird sanctuaries adjacent to the allotted hunting area. Please stay within these areas and do not venture into the sanctuary areas. These are noted on the map page.
